# akua pkg verify

> Check akua.lock against akua.toml, or a tarball against its signature

```sh theme={null}
akua pkg verify [flags]
```

| Flag | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--workspace` | string | Workspace root |
| `--tarball` | string | Verify a packed .tar.gz instead |
| `--sig` | string | The .akuasig sidecar (default \<tarball>.akuasig) |
| `--public-key` | string | PEM cosign public key (default akua.toml \[signing].cosign\_public\_key) |

Every command also accepts the [universal flags](/akua/cli#universal-flags).
