# akua pkg test

> Run KCL tests (test_*.k, *_test.k) and, with --golden, snapshot tests

```sh theme={null}
akua pkg test [flags]
```

| Flag | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--workspace` | string | Workspace root |
| `--golden` | boolean | Run golden snapshot tests in addition to assertion tests |
| `--update-snapshots` | boolean | Rewrite snapshot files rather than diff. Implies `--golden` |

Every command also accepts the [universal flags](/akua/cli#universal-flags).
