# akua pkg remove

> Remove a dependency from akua.toml

```sh theme={null}
akua pkg remove [flags] <name>
```

| Argument | Required | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `<name>` | yes | Local alias of the dep to remove |

| Flag | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--ignore-missing` | boolean | No-op when the dep is already absent |
| `--workspace` | string | Workspace root |

Every command also accepts the [universal flags](/akua/cli#universal-flags).
