# akua pkg pack

> Pack the workspace into a local .tar.gz

```sh theme={null}
akua pkg pack [flags]
```

| Flag | Type | Description |
| - | - | - |
| `--workspace` | string | Workspace root containing akua.toml |
| `--out` | string | Output tarball; defaults to ./dist/\<name>-\<version>.tar.gz under the workspace |
| `--no-vendor` | boolean | Don't embed OCI/git deps under .akua/vendor/ (the result needs the network to render) |

Every command also accepts the [universal flags](/akua/cli#universal-flags).
